Deadlines and projects are keeping me on a tight rein. Which is unnecessarily a bad thing. Those are things which keep me busy, which has been keeping my mind preoccupied. Believe it or not, I'm falling, falling in love with Case reports reading. As well as statutory readings. It is contradicting to say that the law is black and white while it is actually "neither here nor there" when it comes to interpreting it. Law no longer intrigues me, for I'm presently slowly picking up the know-how in understanding it.

I realised that it is perfectly fine if I do not encounter the unprecedented this time. Not standing out from the rest and all. How the people around me are progressing was at first a thing which scared the life out of me, demeaned and deflated me. I'll just have to keep up with being the average, a thing which I now think is good enough. As much as I know I have to keep the hopes up of standing out from the rest, I also know it isn't easy.

I'm giving myself the chance to choose.
To decide whether to be just above average or way above average.
